ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Howdy, I am Greg Haren, Owner and Operator of Caregivers for Seniors. My dad, James H. Haren, started Caregivers For Seniors in 1988. It started when my grandma, who was 86 and lived in Dalton, Georgia went into the hospital for gallstone surgery, usually a fairly routine surgery, but at 86 years old nothing is routine.

My dad was living in Sarasota, Florida and tried to have family, friends and church members sit with her, but nobody could do it on a regular basis. My grandma ended up passing away 6 months later and my dad always said if he could have found a company like ours she would have lived at least a few more years.

My dad asked two of his good friends, who were doctors in Sarasota, who takes care of seniors when their loved ones pass away and they don't want to leave home? They answered no one. So, my dad opened an office in Sarasota and within a year had 25 locations in Florida. In 2002, I decided to expand to Texas, where we are still going strong today.
